Welcome to the Jungle: Tambopata, Peru

We are 17 families that have recognized in ecotourism an opportunity to make use of our forest in a non-extractive way. Whether we have lived here our whole life or have moved here a few years back, we are all passionate about the Amazon rainforest. We are convinced that sustainable development can halt the loss of biodiversity and can improve the well-being of the families committing to it.

Tambopata is among the most biodiverse regions on the planet. By conserving our forests we protect the diversity our guests come to explore and by sharing our passion for Tambopata we enrich our guest´s experience in the rainforest. The importance relies on the fact that we depend as much on the forest as we depend on our guests. Further, the successful conservation of our forests depends on our hability to attract guests, but more importantly to produce happy customers. We are therefore committed to providing you, dear guest, an enriching and authentic experience in Tambopata. By opening our house, we want to make you feel at home in the Amazon rainforest.
